Today was a long, hard day.  We had reservations at the Uffizi Gallery at 8:30, which meant an early morning and a rushed breakfast.  After the Gallery, we visited some churches and had lunch while we waited for our 2:30 reservation to see the David statue at the Accademia.  The city was hot and crowded and Mom and Dad were a little bit grumpy.  I of course was happy to be in my stroller, eating gelato and pouring water from the water bottles all over myself.  We were all happy to get back to the air conditioned hotel room that evening!!

view from the Uffizi Gallery windows-of course we couldn't take pictures inside, but this is were all the great paintings are at.

I'm in charge of the map today

Santa Croce Church-there are a lot of famous people buried in this church including Michelangelo, Galileo, Rossini, and Machiavelli.

The San Lorenzo Church and Market

The David-Mom had to take a picture here even though she wasn't supposed to.  If you want the full story, ask her about Prof Yancey and "click-click"
