Wissembourg and Souffleheim France had their markets this weekend.  Both of these cities are places that I have been before and are right on the border between Germany and France.

I had a major accident walking to the market from the parking lot.  It was so major that it required the use of the German first aid kit that we are required to carry in our car.  Unfortunately a German first aid kit is not like an American first aid kit, so Mom had to do some improvising to make me a bandage.

the church here is known for it's stained glass.

this tree was decorated with pretzels

penguins made of Chocolate!!!

Souffleheim is known for it's pottery.  All of the pottery stores were open and there was an inside market in a large building that appeared to be a type of community center.

I'm not real impressed with this whole Santa-guy!!
