Since it was so nice today, we headed out on an adventure.  First we headed to Gelnhausen, which is the first town on the German Fairy Tale Road.  We were looking for a castle ruin but instead we came across a great festival.  Unfortunately we had stopped at the Army base in Hanau for lunch, so all we got to eat at the fest were some little doughnut-hole things. 

I got to ride the merry-go-round and get a balloon!!

After some time at the fest, we drove a little further north to Steinau. This is the town where the Brothers Grimm grew up.
