I got to go to Tropical Island this weekend.  Tropical Islands is the huge indoor tropical resort that has been built in an old air-cargo hanger about 60km outside of Berlin. This place is huge and awesome!!!

The dome has a ground surface of 66,000 square meters and 107 meters tall.  It is big enough that it would hold 8 soccer fields and so tall that the Statue of Liberty could stand up in it. 

Inside the dome are two pools, a tropical rainforest, indoor playground, and lots of other neat stuff.

There is a 25 meter high water slide.  It has four different water slides, including one that you can reach speeds of 40 miles an hour on!!

  There are lots of neat tropical buildings to look at. 

I got to eat ice cream for lunch

there were ponds with Koi fish for me to look at.
